Privacy policy

Clockpit values your privacy. This policy explains which personal data we process through this website, for what purpose, and what rights you have. We process data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This is a translation of our Dutch privacy policy; if the two differ, the Dutch version prevails.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Clockpit, located at Mozartlaan 27 (unit B2.2), 1217 CM Hilversum, the Netherlands. For questions about this privacy policy, contact us at contact@clockpit.app.
2. What data we process
When you use our website, we may process the following data:
- Contact and demo requests: your name, email address, company name, phone number and the content of your message.
- Analytics and advertising: data about your website visit through cookies and similar technologies. This includes the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and a recording of your mouse movements, clicks and scrolling on the page (see section 5).
- Spam protection: when you submit a form, we use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you are human. This processes your IP address and technical browser data. Turnstile does not set advertising cookies and does not track you across websites.
3. Why we process this data
- To respond to your contact or demo request.
- To improve our website and services.
- To understand how visitors use our site and where they get stuck, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
- To protect our forms against spam and automated abuse.
The legal basis for processing contact details is your request to us. For analytics, advertising and the spam protection on our forms, it is our legitimate interest: we want to know that our website works and stays secure. You can object to this, see section 7.
4. How long we keep data
We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purposes above. Data from contact and demo requests is kept for as long as needed to handle your question and any follow-up.
5. Cookies
Our website uses functional cookies that are needed for the site to work. We also use cookies and similar technologies for analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) and advertising (Google Ads). These are set as soon as you visit the site; we do not ask for your consent beforehand. Microsoft Clarity also records your mouse movements, clicks and scrolling, so we can see where visitors get stuck. If you do not want this, you can block cookies in your browser, use a tracking blocker, or object via the address in section 1.
6. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data. We only share data with service providers that help us run the website: Google (analytics and advertising), Microsoft (Clarity, session recordings) and Cloudflare (spam protection on our forms). These parties process data solely on our behalf.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can also object to processing and withdraw your consent. To do so, contact us at contact@clockpit.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. You will always find the latest version on this page.
